forever.
When Leah Bleich, one of my film friends, confided in me in the summer of 2021 that she was feeling creatively unsatisfied, I suggested we try to simplify a little bit. Strip things down, create something with no money and no expectations.
The idea of letting loose and going wild with nothing to hold you back felt like we were setting ourselves free - thus, this story was born. A tale of two people, too young to care and young enough to care too much.
Set to music by Max Green and Peter McMaster, Room 104 was shot in one night in a desert motel. Leah and I worked in tandem to bring these characters to life - although to be honest, we didn’t have to do much, as actors Brooke Mackenzie and Maclaren Roberts did a phenomenal job. We invite you to step inside.
